Full Question: I’ve been invited to an event called ‘national freelancers day’, what exactly does this cover?

National Freelancers Day has been running for a number of years and is hosted and run by IPSE – The Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed. Their annual event is one of the largest opportunities for contractors, freelancers, small businesses and the self employed to come together.

National freelancers day offers great opportunities for freelancers to talk to key note speakers about the future for freelancers, gain top tips and advice on advancing your business, presentations, workshops, 1-2-1 sessions, networking opportunities and much more.

They discuss: changes to the economy, business practices, how legislation changes can affect the freelance landscape and how freelancers can make the most of the new opportunities out there.

Until recently I have always done my own accounts. Things have become a little more complex and I was feeling overwhelmed.
